Adding protection, stability, and accessory mounting options, the Varavon ARMOR II Standard Cage for Canon EOS 5D Mark III prepares your Canon 5D Mark III camera for video production work. For handheld shooting, a top handle in included, as well as a leather hand strap that attaches to the right side cage. With the camera in the cage, you still have access to the SD card slot, battery compartment, and all camera controls, so you won't have to waste time removing the camera from the cage during a shoot.

The cage offers a variety of accessory mounting options. A 15mm rod port is integrated into the left side of the cage that is adjustable to position a rod in front or behind the camera. A 6" long rod is included that, when position in front of the camera, is useful for mounting an optional follow focus. Positioning it behind the camera lets you mount an optional external battery, shoulder stock, or other accessory. In addition to the rod port on the side of the cage, there are also two rod ports on the top handle. One of the ports allows you to place a 15mm rod centered above the lens, while the other lets you position a rod horizontally above the camera, useful for mounting an external monitor or EVF.

For further accessory mounting, there are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded hole on all sides of the cage. There are also 1/4"-20 threads on the top handle as well as an included cold shoe mount that screws into the front of the handle. For added convenience, the screws used to mount the camera, attach the top handle, and attach the cold shoe adapter are tightened in place using the same Allen wrench, which is safely stored into a slot on the side of the top handle. For cable security, the left side of the cage features a built-in cable clamping system that helps prevents connected cable from accidentally being pulled out while shooting.

The Varavon Slide Cam Lite 600 is a 2 ft long camera slider with a ball-bearing slide mechanism that's tension-adjustable at the use of included wrenches. Two removable and height adjustable legs are also included and can raise the slider up to 2 inches off of the ground. You can angle the slider to get straight horizontal shots, or you can slope it on a tripod, position it vertically on a tripod, use it as a crane on a tripod, or even attach it flipped over on two tripods.The slider weighs under 3 lbs and supports up to 20 lbs of weight, although 7 to 13 lbs is the ideal weight range for smooth glides. The plate atop the rails features a 3/8" screw compatible with all standard ball heads and has two locking pins to lock the head in. It also has a stop break for immediate stops and a bubble level to indicate how straight or angled the slider is positioned.

Featuring 8mm steel rails, the Varavon Slidecam S 1500 is a camera slider that lets you add smooth linear motion with loads up to 22kg . The track measures 59" long, just under 2" wide, and features index markings on the top of the rails for precise and repeatable start and stop points. The slider platform rides on three roller bearings for smooth operation, with an integrated brake letting you secure the carriage in place at any point along the rails for locked-down shots or when transporting the slider.

The platform features a 3/8"-16 mounting screw for attaching a ball head or fluid head, with a thumbwheel at the side of the platform used to tighten the head to the carriage. Threaded mounting holes on the at the ends and underside of the track allow for mounting on tripods stands. For ground level or tabletop shots, the slider features a folding leg system with adjustable feet provides leveling and two points of articulation, so you can support the slider on almost any hard surface, smooth, or uneven.

An included rail cleaning device fits snugly on the rails and cleans them of debris, so you can avoid pitting of the rails or track wheels. The included carry bag and shoulder strap allow you to pack up and take your slider with you, making it a completely portable solution.
