The long interference tube and supercardioid polar pattern yield sharp directionality in front of the mic and the switchable 150 Hz high-pass filter attenuates rumble and low-frequency handling noise. The mic’s wide 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response allows quality signal capture for speech, ambient sound, nature sounds, and sound effects. Wind noise can be effectively reduced using the supplied windshield and windscreen.

To ensure reliable operation with a variety of devices such as cameras, mixer adapters, and portable audio recorders, the BOYA BY-BM6060L Long Shotgun Microphone microphone runs on a single AA battery or 12 to 48 VDC phantom power. It utilizes a balanced XLR output for straightforward connectivity.

Long Interference Tube

By incorporating a long interference tube and a supercardioid polar pattern, the BY-BM6060L offers a narrow pickup range with greater side- and rear-rejection characteristics than shorter shotgun mics, making it ideal for reducing the capture of ambient sound when recording outdoors.

Full-Range Frequency Reproduction

The wide 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response of the microphone allows it to accurately capture speech. Ambient sounds, nature sounds, and sound effects. The switchable high-pass filter attenuates low frequencies below 150 Hz to help you control difficult bass issues such as rumble and traffic noise.

Battery or Phantom Powered

Able to be run on a single AA battery or 12 to 48 VDC phantom power. The BY-BM6060L can be used with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, professional camcorders, field recorders, and also handheld audio recorders. The XLR 3-pin output provides a balanced, high-quality connection point.

Strong Output Signal
