Description

Cut reflections and glare with the Enhanced Polarizer Filter for DJI Mavic 2 Pro from NiSi. The filter’s polarizer function helps reduce reflection and glare from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass, especially when taking landscape shots on sunny days. You should also notice enhanced color, a reduction of haze in landscapes, and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.

Crafted with high-definition optical glass for maximum sharpness, this filter is mounted on an aluminum airframe and weighs only about 1.5g. Its Nano coating makes the filter waterproof and easy to clean? water beads up and falls straight off. The filter passes startup calibration when mounted on your Mavic 2 Pro and is easy to attach and remove from the quad’s Hasselblad camera.

The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a medium-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a medium-edged line of transition can filter the sky while minimizing its effect on the land. It is particularly useful for images that include elements like rooftops and mountains that protrude into the sky. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and this filter provides up to a 4-stop reduction in light from entering the lens. The design of this filter has been optimized for use with digital sensors and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater susceptibility to infrared light compared to traditional film, color casts can occur when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times. To provide neutrality across the visible and infrared spectrums in order to eliminate color casts and ensure cleaner, truer blacks, one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating is applied to each of this filter's surfaces. The Nano coating associated with this filter also results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water or oil for greater cleaning efficiency. This NiSi 100 x 150mm Nano Medium-Edge Graduated IRND 1.2 Filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity, and measures 2mm thick.100 x 150mm graduated neutral density filter darkens bright areas of an image, such as skies, while leaving the remainder of the frame unaffected.16x filter factor provides up to a 4-stop reduction of light in selective areas.Medium-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas.Useful for images that include elements like rooftops and mountains that protrude into the sky.Filter does not affect coloration of the image and is ideal for use with other filters. Each surface includes one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating that attenuates infrared light as well as visible wavelengths, to maintain color neutrality and suppress color casts due to increased exposure times.Nano coating provides an improved beading effect with water or oil for more efficient cleaning.Constructed from optical glass for clarity.Leatherette pouch included for storage and transport. How to Use ND Filters: Beyond the BasicsThe NiSi 150 x 150mm Nano IRND 3.0 Filter is an ND filter with a 1,000x filter factor that provides a 10-stop exposure reduction. Its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters are intended to not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters. The design of this filter has been optimized for use with digital sensors and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater susceptibility to infrared light, compared to traditional film, color casts can occur when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times. To provide a high level of neutrality across the visible and infrared spectrums in order to eliminate color casts and ensure cleaner, truer blacks when using the NiSi 150 x 150mm Nano IRND 3.0 Filter, one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating is applied to each of this filter's surfaces. The Nano coating associated with this filter also results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water or oil for greater cleaning efficiency. This NiSi 150 x 150mm Nano IRND 3.0 Filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity, and measures 2mm thick.150 x 150mm neutral density filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required.Providing a 10-stop exposure reduction, this filter allows you to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.Filter does not affect coloration of the image and is ideal for use with other filters. The NiSi Solid Neutral Density Extreme Filter Kit contains four filters that are compatible with filter holders that can accommodate 100mm-wide, 2mm-thick filters. Each filter can be used individually or in various combinations to create a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters. This kit's NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 0.9 Filter, NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 1.8 Filter, NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 3.0 Filter, and NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 4.5 Filter are ND filters that provide a respective 3-, 6-, 10-, and 15-stop exposure reduction. The design of these filters has been optimized for use with digital sensors and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light. Due to imaging sensors' greater susceptibility to infrared light, compared to traditional film, color casts can occur when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times. To provide a high level of neutrality across the visible and infrared spectrums in order to eliminate color casts and ensure cleaner, truer blacks when using the NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 0.9 Filter, NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 1.8 Filter, NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 3.0 Filter, or NiSi 100 x 100mm Nano IRND 4.5 Filter, one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating is applied to each of these filter's surfaces. The nano coating associated with these filters also results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water or oil for greater cleaning efficiency. An included NiSi Four-Filter Soft Case for 100mm Filters is designed to provide a secure and convenient transport and storage solution for any combination of up to four NiSi 100 x 100mm or 100 x 150mm filters. Filters placed within this pouch are each held within one of four nonabrasive slots. They can be easily accessed by opening the pouch's touch-tab fastened front flap. When photographing with a tripod, a loop along the rear of the NiSi Four-Filter Soft Case for 100mm Filters allows it to be secured to one of the tripod's legs, putting your filters in more immediate reach. This pouch's exterior is woven from canvas for durability. Also provided is a microfiber cloth for cleaning and maintenance of the filters, as well as four light-blocking gaskets. Each of these gaskets can be used to form a seal that is intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between a filter and the lens behind it. How to Use ND Filters: An IntroductionThe NiSi 4 x 5.65" Nano IRND 0.9 Filter is an ND filter with an 8x filter factor that provides a 3-stop exposure reduction. Its 0.9 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.
