Featuring a “fold up” 5-section traveler design, the Element Big is capable of collapsing down to just 16.5″, making it ideal for storage in a suitcase or backpack. With a focus on special features and ease of use, the Element Big series features a few special design features that make it a versatile accessory for any image maker. First, the tripod utilizes rubber-coated twist locks, which help to maintain an overall slim profile and allow for quick setup and breakdown.
Secondly, the Element features a detachable leg that attaches to the center column to form a monopod. A great feature for travelers who may encounter locations and venues where tripods are not permitted but monopods are. Third, each leg features three independent leg positions that are engaged by a spring-loaded lock. Allowing you to position each leg separately on uneven terrain.
Additionally, the Element Big includes a dual-lock, Arca-type-compatible ball head with quick release plate.
