The aluminum-constructed ring attaches toward the rear of the lens, and the interior of the ring contains rubber padding to prevent scratches to the lens’s body.
Releasing the side locking knob allows you to rotate the lens on its axis in a horizontal or vertical position. Toward the back of the foot, a secondary knob can be unlocked and acts as a quick release to detach the ring along with the lens from the foot.
The lens mounting foot is compatible with most Arca-type heads and clamps on the market. And if no quick release system is available, the lens foot provides a 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting option as well.
