This ?SmallRig Cage for Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T3 Camera with Battery Grip ?is a formfitting aluminum alloy cage that protects your camera from the rigors of daily production life without impeding access to your camera’s functions, displays, ports, or battery.
The camera mounts onto the cage via a 1/4″-20 screw and the mounting surface features anti-slip pads which, in conjunction with the front plate that conforms to the shape of the camera and battery grip combination, hold your camera securely in the cage and prevent it from twisting.
An included M2 screw threads through your camera’s right-side eyelet to further lock your camera in place.
An integrated Arca-Swiss plate enables mounting on an Arca-Swiss-compatible tripod head without needing to use a camera plate. For accessory mounting, an integrated cold shoe mount provides a convenient attachment point for articulating arms, external monitors, and other accessories.
The cage incorporates multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes. ARRI-style anti-twist divots surround some of the 3/8″-16 mounting holes on the left, top, and right. The cage also features a NATO rail on the left and right sides.
Anti-Twist Design
The cage features two grip pads on the camera mounting surface. And also it conforms to the shape of the camera with battery grip attached. An M2 screw threads through your camera’s eyelet to lock it into the cage and also prevent it from twisting.
Accessory Mounting Screw Holes
The cage incorporates thirty-two 1/4″-20 threaded mounting holes for attaching accessories. It also has five 3/8″-16 threaded mounting holes, three on top. One on the left side, and also one on the right side of the cage. One each of the 3/8″-16 threaded holes on the left, top. And also right feature ARRI-style anti-twist divots to help keep your accessories from rotating when attached.
NATO Rails
The left- and right-side NATO rails are machined into the cage.
Cold Shoe
An integrated cold shoe allows for mounting accessories with a cold shoe mounting foot.
