The Blackmagic Design Video Assist 3G-SDI/HDMI 7"" Recording Monitor offers professional-level monitoring and high-quality recording in a compact design. Featuring a bright 7"" 1920 x 1200 display with 300 cd/m² brightness, this monitor ensures accurate framing and focus. It supports both 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs, allowing you to record video resolutions up to 1080p60 in 10-bit 4:2:2, alongside 16 channels of 24-bit 48 kHz audio.
Equipped with dual mini-XLR inputs and phantom power support, it’s ideal for capturing crisp audio. The monitor also includes advanced features like USB Type-C video output, tally light, and support for industry-standard codecs such as Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD. The Blackmagic Design Video Assist is designed for flexibility and ease of use with its intuitive touchscreen interface.
Enabling you to adjust settings and monitor video through scopes like histograms, waveforms, and vectorscopes. It records directly to SDXC/SDHC memory cards via dual UHS-I SD card slots. The monitor is compatible with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and other devices, and can be powered through an included 12V power adapter or optional Sony L-Series batteries.
