Color : Grey | Here we'd like to introduce the CANON 5D Mark2/Mark3 cage produced by THOR VIDEO. This solid and durable case is finished with all aluminium construction. The sleek and intuitive functional design leaves all of the camera's vital features easily accessible and ergonomically viewable. Outstanding features of the cage provide an open grip for reduced weight and for ease in mounting components such as memory cards and battery; also the cheese-plate's unique design brings out the top camera dial unobscured. Open Grip The minimalist design gives you mounting points on the top and side while leaving all of the camera's vital controls on the camera's top dial via a cut out, the right grip and left side easily viewable and accessible. Cage allows easy access to record button and shutter, as well as to memory cards and battery. Cable Clamp Locks HDMI cable firmly to prevent damage to the camera port through sudden stress. Hot Shoe mount plate Can be firmly equipped to the camera's hot shoe out of its shape, attaching to the top cheese plate without using mount screw due to avoiding damages on the surface. It adds a rubber washer in between the plate and screw for a tighter fit. Compatible Plate The plate on the cage is compatible with various tripod heads. The cage can be mounted directly on commonly used Sachtler ACE / Manfrotto 501/701 head.
