| Content | The SmallHD FOCUS Bolt 500 TX On-Camera Monitor combines SmallHD's popular FOCUS monitor with Teradek's Bolt 500 wireless transmitter, all in a single unit. Using the built-in transmission, the Focus Bolt can send uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 HD video to a Teradek Bolt 500, Bolt 500 LT, Bolt 500 XT, or Sidekick II receiver, or to a SmallHD FOCUS Bolt 500 RX or 703 Bolt monitor, up to 500' away. What's more is this monitor fits right atop your camera's accessory shoe using the included tilt-arm. An L-series battery kit, cable clips, matte and glossy screen protectors, a cleaning cloth, and an assortment of HDMI cables are included as well.Display-wise, the FOCUS Bolt 500 TX is based off the same display and I/O as the well-regarded standard FOCUS models. The bright, 800 cd/m2, 1280 x 720 touchscreen IPS LCD panel can be viewed in daylight, and is driven by a single micro-HDMI input. Using the intuitive Swipe OS, you can turn on various monitoring tools like waveform, false color, and vectorscope, as well as focusing aids like peaking, with a tap. If your camera outputs UHD 4K over HDMI, the FOCUS will support that input resolution as well as HD and SD inputs. At the rear of the monitor, a single NP-F battery bay accepts the included available L-series battery for power, while an integrated power output can also power your camera with a separately available DC coupler.
Swipe OS
Built on SmallHD's intuitive PageBuilder OS, Swipe OS offers the same intuitiveness of a graphical user interface (GUI), though with touchscreen navigation. Rather than have confusing menus, this GUI allows you to selectively apply monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, and focusing aids to up to 12 different "pages". Using the touchscreen, swipe through different preset pages and toggle monitoring tools on or off with ease.
Camera Setup Integration
This monitor complements smaller cameras by providing power output and a headphone jack. The power output lets you power your camera directly from the NP-F battery mounted on the monitor, increasing runtimes over the standard batteries of many mirrorless cameras. If your camera doesn't have a headphone jack, the FOCUS de-embeds the audio from the HDMI stream for real-time feedback of audio.
Convenient Mounting
The FOCUS monitor secures to your camera using the included FOCUS Tilt Arm via shoe mount or 1/4"-20 thread. The Tilt Arm enables 180 ? of tilt for convenient monitoring at nearly any angle. A cold shoe on the Tilt Arm lets you secure equipment (like a microphone, or LED light) that would otherwise be displaced from the camera's accessory shoe. | The lightweight 7" SmallHD Cine 7 On-Camera 500 RX Monitor with Handles provides professional monitoring in a sharp 7" display suitable for outdoor use. Rather than have confusing menus, this GUI allows you to selectively apply monitoring tools such as waveforms, vectorscopes, multiview, and focusing aids to up to 4 different "pages". These pages can be easily flipped through using the joystick. The buttons on the front panel can also toggle monitoring tools on and off for each page.
ColorFlow 3D LUT Processing
In order to keep your images consistent from production through to post-production, ColorFlow allows you to import 3D LUTs and display the treated image side-by-side with the untreated image to correctly gauge exposure while visualizing what is being recorded by the camera. Side-by-side preview can also be used with the HDR preview function. Separate LUT-treated images can be sent downstream over SDI and HDMI so you can have the 1303 display a log image or LUT-treated image, while the director or client monitors connected to the outputs can receive images treated with a different LUT. An image-capture function saves a still frame from the incoming video stream onto an SD card and also records the applied 3D LUT for post-production reference.
Color Intelligence Engine
When a separately available color probe is connected to the monitor via USB, the SmallHD 1303 can automatically adjust a 10-bit 3D calibration LUT for maintaining accurate color reproduction over the life of the monitor.

The PageBuilder OS has a dedicated "Output Preview" page which allows you to apply LUTs and other image adjustments specific to the output signal from the monitor. Whether you have your camera connected to the HDMI or SDI input on the 702 OLED, you are not limited by that protocol. The 702 OLED cross converts to ensure compatibility with downstream hardware.
HD Scopes
Fill the screen with up to three simultaneous scopes? including waveform, vectorscope, and histogram? while still being able to observe the camera feed. The Color Picker function can analyze the raw color values of any individual pixel in the frame.
Exposure Tools
Exposure Assist supports both ARRI and Spectrum-based false color, with built-in IRE guides for reference. Utilize 2x Zebra to warn you when reaching a brightness level of your choosing. This is great for matching exposure across shots and cameras.
Dual-View
View two video feeds side by side. The feeds can be from two different inputs to view angle options, or from the same source. Different adjustments can be applied to each feed, so you can have one feed with a flat uncorrected log image, and have the second feed display a corrected log image with a LUT. Monitoring tools can also be applied individually, so you can view a raw video feed side by side with a feed that has exposure tools or focus assists overlaid.
Focus Assist and Peaking Tools
Focus assist creates a bright highlight on in-focus subject matter? highly recommended when focusing on the fly. Focus Peaking increases the image sharpness, allowing for more detailed focusing. The color and intensity of the peaking can be adjusted to your preference.
