Description

The Rode RX-CAM is a camera-mount wireless receiver compatible with RODELink digital wireless systems for videographers, podcasters, and mobile journalists.

Easy to use and fast to set up, the RX-CAM mounts on the shoe of your DSLR/mirrorless camera without adding much weight. Plug it into the 3.5mm mic input of your camera using the the included output cable. Additionally, the receiver can be clipped on a belt or mounted using the 3/8″-16 thread at the bottom.

The RX-CAM runs up to 30 hours on two AA batteries and can be powered via USB with a wall power source or a portable battery, while in operation.
Receiver with OLED Display

  • The OLED display shows critical information for the receiver as well as the transmitter, including battery status, signal level, mute status, and channel selection for both units.
  • The unit features a high-output level with 0 dB, -10 dB, or -20 dB gain adjustment, which lets you turn down the camera gain for cleaner recordings with less hiss.
  • Lightweight (at 6.7 oz), the RX-CAM features a detachable shoemount with a rounded base that lets you conveniently angle the unit on top of your camera.
  • The receiver? s shoemount adapter can be swapped, allowing it to be belt clipped, mounted on cameras and tripods, or used in an audio bag.
  • The included cable connects the receiver’s output to the 3.5mm audio input of any DSLR or mirrorless camera.
  • Alternatively, the VXLR 3.5mm to XLR adapter (available separately) allows you plug your system into the XLR input of a camcorder or recording device.

Simple and Flexible Operation

  • The RX-CAM uses an intuitive, single-button interface for frequently used basic functions including power and muting.
  • Additional buttons offer more advanced controls? without elaborate menu diving? over audio levels, additional pairing, and channel selection (if you? re using multiple systems).

Other Features

  • Up to 30 hours on two AA batteries.
  • Also operates powered via USB with a wall power source or a portable battery.
  • 4 ms maximum latency.
  • 128-bit encryption for security.
  • Designed and made in Australia.

Clean and Reliable Sound

  • RODELink employs Series II 2.4 GHz digital transmission, which constantly monitors and hops between frequencies to maintain a clean transmission, at a range of up to 330? .
  • To ensure clear communication, the system sends the audio on two separate frequencies (frequency diversity) and uses the cleanest signal.
  • The system transmits a strong signal at the selected frequency to overcome interference even in busy 2.4 GHz (Wi-Fi) environments. For optimal performance, users are encouraged to maintain as direct a line of sight as possible between the transmitter and receiver.

Note: Each RODELink system creates a wireless peer-to-peer connection allowing the transmitter and the receiver to operate as a pair. This means that the transmitter can transmit audio to only one receiver at a time. Conversely, the receiver can only receive audio from one transmitter at a time.

The Rode NT5 is a small diaphragm microphone featuring full frequency response and low-noise output circuitry. Designed for general instrument recording and sound reinforcement. The cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes audio at the off-axis sections, reducing noise caused by leakage, monitors, additional instruments, etc. The NT5 offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz allowing the microphones to be used in a wide variety of applications such as drum overhead miking, stereo capturing of instruments, vocal capturing, etc. The NT5 is powered via +24V or +48V phantom power. The package includes a windscreen, mic clip, and custom case. Cardioid Pattern The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis noise due to leakage, additional instruments, room ambiance, etc. Wide Frequency Response The NT5 features a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz allowing the flexibility to capture accurately in any recording or sound reinforcement scenario. The NT2000 Variable Pattern Studio Condenser Microphone from RODE is a studio-quality, large diaphragm condenser microphone with continuously variable polar patterns. Its polar patterns selection, filter, and pad are conveniently located on the front of the microphone body for ease of use. The gold-sputtered, dual 1" capsule provides low self-noise (7 dB-A) and a maximum SPL of 147 dB (up to 157 dB with pad fully engaged). Dual Diaphragm Design A 1" edge terminated, gold sputtered, dual 5uM diaphragm yields a wide frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a max SPL of 147 dB. The dual diaphragm design provides flexible pattern and sensitivity response, making it versatile in any scenario. Variable Polar Patterns Cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure 8 patterns are user selectable. Continuously variable variations of each allow tailoring of all patterns resulting in perfect pick up settings with each use. Variable Attenuation Continuously variable attenuation adjusts impedance response allowing transparent, distortion free pick-up of transient signals. Attenuation range is user variable between 0 to -10 dB. Variable High Pass Filter The NT2000 also features a user variable high-pass filter. This provides flexible user contouring over frequency response curves. The Rode M1 is a handheld cardioid dynamic microphone designed for reliable reproduction of vocals, speech, guitars, and drums in concert venues, houses of worship, and live stage applications. Its dynamic element utilizes a neodymium magnet for high output without excessive preamp gain and delivers a frequency response of 75 Hz to 18 kHz. The resulting tone is smooth and defined with a mild bump at 200 Hz and a gentle rise from 4 to 10 kHz.The cardioid polar pattern excels at rejecting sound at its off-axis points, yielding enhanced immunity to feedback. The balanced, low-impedance output and low handling noise maintain signal integrity, and the durable, all-metal construction delivers tour-worthy toughness. The M1's gold-plated XLR 3-pin output ensures high conductivity and compatibility with most microphone preamps. It ships with a microphone clip and a padded zip pouch.All-metal construction designed to handle touringCardioid polar pattern minimizes off-axis noise and feedback Dynamic capsule maximizes headroom Gold-plated XLR 3-pin connector resists tarnish and maximizes conductivityDesigned and manufactured in Australia.Bundled together by B&H for your convenience, the R? DE Lavalier Microphone Kit with 3.5mm MiCon Connector is designed to provide a bridge between the R?
