DJI RS 4 Mini Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer

Custom-designed for mirrorless cameras and mobile shooters, the DJI RS 4 Mini Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer (also known as the dji rs 4 mini gimbal stabilizer) is a lightweight single-handed gimbal stabilizer that supports a payload of up to 4.4 lb. This single-grip dji rs 4 gimbal stabilizer uses the advanced DJI RS stabilization algorithm for enhanced performance. Weighing just 2 lb, this dji mini gimbal can capture smooth video for up to 13 hours thanks to the built-in 3100mAh battery and is supported by the detachable extended grip/tripod.

Mount a Camera or Smartphone

The lightweight dji rs 4 mini offers a payload capacity of 4.4 lb, effortlessly handling combinations like the Sony a7 series mirrorless camera with a 24-70 mm f/2.8 GM II lens, as well as vLog cameras like the Sony ZV series. When paired with DJI Mic series microphones, fill lights, and other accessories, this gimbal with stabilizer setup still allows for smooth camera movements. You can also quickly switch to a smartphone stabilizer gimbal configuration using the new Phone Holder.

Quick Auto-Axis Locks

The rs 4 mini adds auto-axis locks previously found on DJI's flagship gimbals, which allow the three axis locks to automatically unlock upon power-on and lock upon power-off or sleep. This speeds up filming, transitioning, and storage processes. The storage structure across the rs4 lineup has also been upgraded, with the axis arms folding flatter to save space. Combined with automated axis locks, the rs4 mini can be stored quickly with the press of a button, making it easy to fit into a bag for convenient carrying.

Fast Vertical Switch

The dji rs 4 mini handheld gimbal stabilizer offers the fastest switch between horizontal and vertical shooting in the RS series. To switch to vertical shooting, simply loosen and press the single-side knob, remove the gimbal horizontal plate, rotate it 90°, and then tighten it back in place. This can all be done in approximately 10 seconds, quickly switching to vertical videos well-suited for mobile phone capture on social media platforms.

Easy Balancing

The rs 4 mini has been meticulously upgraded by adding Teflon interlayers previously used on DJI's flagship gimbals, reducing friction for smoother balancing. The new fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis can move the camera forward or backward, achieving precise, millimeter-level balancing. The upper quick release plate adds three positioning slots, offering more balancing space and aiding memory for quick repositioning when reattaching your camera.

Wireless Recording and Zoom

After Bluetooth pairing, you can control the recording start/stop on your camera or phone directly via the dji rs 4 mini record button without cable hassle. The new zoom control function allows you to control Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom simply by pushing the joystick, making one-handed gimbal stabilizer operation effortless. A camera only needs to be paired once, after which it reconnects automatically.

Upgraded UI

The OLED touchscreen displays icons clearly and operates smoothly. New gimbal status prompts have been added, allowing you to fine-tune values directly using the front dial. When using the touchscreen auto-lock feature, the screen displays current gimbal and joystick modes at low brightness to prevent accidental touches and conserve battery power.

Intelligent Tracking and Composition

The RS Intelligent Tracking Module is a new universal accessory for the dji rs 4 gimbal stabilizer series. It assists videographers with intelligent follow-filming and composition, keeping the subject centered during orbit or tracking shots. Supporting tracking up to 32.8', the module functions reliably even in complex, multi-person scenes, re-acquiring the subject if they temporarily leave the frame.

Shooting Modes

The dji rs 4 mini gimbal stabilizer easily toggles between multiple shooting modes:

• Responsive mode: Use hand gestures to start/stop for fast orbit shots.
• Smooth follow mode: Smooths out parallel tracking and follow shots.
• Horizontal and Vertical modes: Instant switching for standard cinema or vertical social content.
• Upright mode: Standard operational mode for walking or running shots.
• Underslung mode: Inverts the gimbal for low-angle perspectives.
• Flashlight mode: Enables forward-facing hold for tight or confined spaces.
• Briefcase mode: Simplifies low-angle tracking with the optional briefcase handle.

Updated Stabilization

The upgraded 4th-gen RS Stabilization algorithm balances motor strength and tactile motion response, delivering excellent performance on the dji rs 4 mini. It provides enhanced stability in vertical orientation, steadying dynamic running or low-angle shots while automatically calibrating motor strength for different camera loads.

Built-In Extended-Life Battery

With a 30% increase in charging speed and battery life over previous generations, the rs 4 mini offers a 13-hour maximum operating duration. Fast charging provides 5 hours of use from a 30-minute charge, reaching 100% in under two hours via USB-C.

Briefcase Handle Accessory

The optional briefcase handle designed for the dji rs 4 mini reduces accessory size by 20% and weight by 12%, making low-angle handheld filming even more comfortable.
