Description

The Rode Reporter Omnidirectional Handheld Interview Microphone is designed for interviews and presentations in the field. Its dynamic transducer capsule is shockmounted internally for rejection of handling and low-frequency environmental noises. The mic also features a frequency response tailored for speech, with a boost between 4 and 10 kHz for added intelligibility.

With a forgiving omnidirectional pickup pattern well-suited for interviews, the Reporter can be placed between you and your interview subject, without the need to adjust its placement to pick up both speakers. The microphone is equipped with an internal, multi-layer mesh basket that acts as a windscreen, reducing plosives and avoiding the need for an external wind shield.

It can be used for drum overheads, percussion, choir vocals, environmental recording, and sound design in a studio or in the field. The NT4's versatility is extended by its ability to be powered by a 9V battery, in addition to 48V phantom power. Both stereo XLR and 3.5mm mini-jack cables are supplied to ensure the NT4 is ready to record to a mixing console, portable recorder, or camera. Also included is an RC4 rugged microphone case, a WS4 pop filter/wind shield, and a durable RM3 microphone clip. X/Y Stereo Elements The NT4 features dual cardioid elements mounted in an X/Y stereo configuration. The X/Y configuration results in accurate representation of signal within the "Left/Right" stereo field. Matched Capsules Both cardioid capsules are matched in sensitivity and frequency response for optimum results. Phantom or Battery Powered The NT4 can be powered via Phantom Power or a standard alkaline 9V battery. Flexible Connectivity The NT4 includes a dual XLR cable and a stereo 1/8" mini-jack output cable making the it ready for use in any recording environment. The NT2000 Variable Pattern Studio Condenser Microphone from RODE is a studio-quality, large diaphragm condenser microphone with continuously variable polar patterns. Its polar patterns selection, filter, and pad are conveniently located on the front of the microphone body for ease of use. The gold-sputtered, dual 1" capsule provides low self-noise (7 dB-A) and a maximum SPL of 147 dB (up to 157 dB with pad fully engaged). Dual Diaphragm Design A 1" edge terminated, gold sputtered, dual 5uM diaphragm yields a wide frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a max SPL of 147 dB. The dual diaphragm design provides flexible pattern and sensitivity response, making it versatile in any scenario. Variable Polar Patterns Cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure 8 patterns are user selectable. Continuously variable variations of each allow tailoring of all patterns resulting in perfect pick up settings with each use. Variable Attenuation Continuously variable attenuation adjusts impedance response allowing transparent, distortion free pick-up of transient signals. Attenuation range is user variable between 0 to -10 dB. Variable High Pass Filter The NT2000 also features a user variable high-pass filter. This provides flexible user contouring over frequency response curves. The NT1000 1" Studio Condenser Microphone from Rode features transformerless circuitry, giving the mic an ultra-low self-noise level of 6 dBA. It can be used to capture audio for both vocal and instrument applications and is well-suited for grand piano and drum overheads. It is built with a 3-pin XLR connector and requires 24 or 48V phantom power to operate. Also included is a RM2 ring-mount microphone stand and a ZP1 padded zip pouch. Cardioid Polar Pattern The cardioid pick-up pattern is effective in minimizing noise from off-axis sections of the microphone such as monitors, instruments, room ambiance, etc. Gold-Plated Diaphragm The gold-plated diaphragm provides transparent signal reproduction and frequency response. The diaphragm is internally shockmounted, providing protection against potential damage. Wide Frequency Response The NT1000's 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response allows the microphone to be used in a variety of applications. The NT1-A Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone from RODE is a 1" cardioid condenser microphone. It has a self-noise level of 5 dB-A, making it a great choice for a vocal microphone, as well as for recording guitars and percussion instruments.A studio-grade pop shield and shockmount is included, along with a 20' microphone cable, dust cover, and an instructional DVD with recording tips. Large Diaphragm The 1" diaphragm provides a wide frequency response and excellent signal-to-noise ratio Cardioid Polar Pattern The cardioid polar pattern of the NT1-A effectively minimizes off-axis noises such as room ambiance, monitors, and off-axis instruments Transformerless Output The transformerless output electronics result in quiet, noise-free output while maintaining maximum signal gain 48V Phantom Power The microphone uses standard 48V phantom power, which is supplied through the standard XLR connector Accessory Package The accessory package includes a studio-grade shock mount with an integrated pop filter, a premium 20' cable, a dust cover, and a bonus DVD with microphone tips and techniques. The Broadcaster Condenser Microphone from RODE is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone that features a true full-range response especially suited for voice-over use.It has an emphasized proximity effect and features an internal pop filter, designed to minimize plosive sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. In addition to the native 20 Hz-20 kHz response, a selectable high-pass filter at 75 Hz is available to prevent low-end noise, such as air conditioners and traffic, from being recorded. The Broadcaster features an 'On-Air' indicator on the body that can be wired for external activation by the 'Channel On/Mute' function on many consoles. If not connected to a console or switch, the indicator will remain lit whenever the microphone has power.HF2 1" capsule with gold-plated diaphragmOn-Air indicator LEDLow noiseVoice-tailored low-cut featureInternal pop filter.
